Some ‘Love Island’ stars are considering dropping out of the show’s Christmas reunion special.
Despite the massive success of this year’s cast, the former contestants are reportedly set to earn just £10 an hour for ITV special – where they will reveal what’s been going on in their post-villa lives – and a few the Islanders have "discussed dropping out" due to the low fee.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They have been in uproar over being paid so little for two days’ work. It almost isn’t worth hours of awkward conversation with your ex — which for many of the Islanders will be the case now.
"A few have even discussed dropping out to avoid any unnecessary aggravation. The low fees have also upset their agents, who are used to dealing with much bigger contracts."
Despite the shows winners – Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham – remaining loved up, the months following the series has seen many of the couples split, the latest of which is blonde bombshell, Ellie Brown, and billionaire socialite Charlie Brake.
Despite their split, Ellie insists she’s moved on but says she couldn’t have done it without the help of fellow ‘Love Island’ contestants, Zara McDermot and Kaz Crossley
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I’m very good. It was obviously not an easy thing to go through but you always come out of the other end so I’m fine now.
"I’ve been seeing Zara and Kaz – without them, I don’t think I would have got over it as easy and quickly as I did."
"Obviously you have your friends that you’ve had forever, but because they are not in this whole new crazy world they kind of don’t understand it whereas Zara and Kaz first hand knew how hard it was to deal with something personally public so they were amazing."
