‘Love Island’ newcomer Ellie Brown is planning an explosive confrontation with Adam Collard when she enters the villa.
The 20-year-old blonde will be shaking up the show when she and Zara McDermott arrive on Sunday (18.06.18) and viewers can expect fireworks when she comes face-to-face with the personal trainer, because she’s furious over the way he treated his ex-girlfriend Claudia Proctor, who is one of her close friends.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: "I can imagine it’s going to get very heated in there.
"Ellie’s angry about how Adam broke it off with Claudia.
"She’s not happy about him blaming her friend’s insecurities as his reasons for dumping her, so will definitely pull him up about that from the off.
"And because she knows him really well she’s not going to hold back, so things could be very tense in there.
"I think she’ll be upfront about telling him how he’s coming across on the outside because so far he hasn’t treated the girls very nicely in there."
So far on the show, Adam has dumped Kendall Rae-Knight for Rosie Williams, but he left the lawyer infuriated when he made a move on Megan Barton Hanson, though he and Rosie now seem to be back on track.
However, friends think having Ellie around will make him feel awkward about wanting to get close to any of the women on the island.
A source said: "Adam will go into his shell with Rosie now that Ellie’s on the scene.
"He’ll probably feel awkward about doing anything in the bedroom while his ex’s best mate is right there."
Adam – who had a tattoo of Claudia’s initials shortly before they split – previously blamed his ex-girlfriend’s "insecurity" for their break-up.
He said: "It was a lot of insecurities on her end. We had our differences.
"I get quite a bit of attention because of the way I look and Instagram is a big thing."
