‘Love Island’ ended on a cliffhanger with Molly-Mae Hague asking Maura Higgins for a chat after she spent the evening trying to snatch a kiss with Tommy Fury.
The 19-year-old social media influencer tried her best to keep her cool throughout Friday’s (14.06.19) episode, which saw the 28-year-old ring girl climb onto the hunky boxer on the sofa and attempt to kiss him, with him abruptly turning away, before returning to the bedroom to join Molly-Mae in bed.
Tommy had admitted earlier that he wants to kiss Maura "when the time is right", but later said that even if she looked like "Beyonce" he is not the type of person to two-time.
In their racy exchange, Maura asked Tommy: "Does she turn you on like I do?"
To which he confessed: "You know you are f***ing sexy. Please shut the f*** up. Please be quiet.
"I’d kiss you but obviously I want to get to know you.
"I want to kiss you when the time is right.
"You’ve got this hold over me, I don’t know what the f*** it is."
When Tommy asked Molly-Mae: "Where are we at?, she replied: "I don’t know. The ball is kind of in your court."
Whilst the pair try and win the affections of Tommy, Maura admitted she doesn’t see Molly-Mae as "competition" in the slightest and is not willing to lose the "connection" she has with him.
Maura admitted: "With the whole Tommy situation I don’t feel like there is much competition there because I trust Tommy with what he said and I trust the connection we’ve had and I am not going to let that go to easily."
Elsewhere, Danny Williams and Yewande Biala shared their first kiss, despite the 21-year-old model turning the heads of Elma Pazar, Maura and Molly-Mae.
‘Love Island’ continues on ITV2 and Virgin Media Two on Sunday (16.06.19) at 9pm.
