Love Island couples breakdown in aftermath of headline challenge

The ‘Love Island’ couples will discuss the headline challenge in heated aftermath.
The Islanders were faced with a challenge called ‘News Splash’ on Wednesday (12.02.20), in which they had to fill in the blanks of headlines that had been written about them or risk being dunked into a tank of water.
However, the revelations caused a stir for some of the couples as the girls discovered their boys have been up to no good behind their backs.
Paige Turley was left stunned when Shaughna Phillips read out a headline that said: "Casa Amor cause blank, blank, and blank’s heads to turn on tonight’s Love Island," only to find out her boyfriend Finley Tapp was one of the names behind the headline.
The 20-year-old recruitment consultant – who slept on his own on one of the day beds during the split so he didn’t share a bed with another girl – had originally told his girlfriend he only had eyes for her during the Casa Amor split, and is set to double down on claims he was nothing but "respectful" to the 22-year-old singer.
On tonight’s episode (13.02.20), Finn says: "I have not done one thing in Casa Amor that I regret. Whatever I did, was respectful to you the whole time. I feel like I’ve come back here with my head held high knowing I’ve respected you and I’ve gone about things in a way that I’m proud of. My head wasn’t turned."
He adds: "All I care about is how you feel and how I feel."
But a reluctant Paige replies: "I’ve told you how I feel … The headline, in black and white … what do you want me to take from that?"
Finn declares: "I understand why you feel like that, but all Casa Amor did is make me realise how much I was into you."
Elsewhere, Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman are set for a rocky romance after it was revealed Luke had spilled on their private moment in The Hideaway.
Siânnise was left confused after the 22-year-old semi-professional footballer bragged to the boys about Siânnise getting "naked".
Luke says: "I just said we were both naked … I think I just talk too much."
Siânnise replies: "The girls asked me what happened and I didn’t say anything because that’s between me and you … I know that you wouldn’t have done that in a malicious way … you probably were excited, the boys were probably egging you on, but that’s a personal thing to me and that’s something I would have rather had stayed between us."
However, Luke asks: "Do you not think it was sort of obvious?"
And Siânnise says: "Not really no …"
The intense conversation isn’t all bad though, as Luke reveals he quite enjoyed the 25-year-old beauty consultant being "sassy".
In the Beach Hut Luke gushes: "I just overshared. But whenever she’s sassy I just find it really attractive. She put her foot down and told me off a bit, which I weirdly like a lot… She definitely laid down the law a bit."
What’s more, Molly Smith discusses the headline that suggested partner Callum Jones is "set to cheat" on her, after he dumped Shaughna for her during Casa Amor.
Molly states: "I’ve been cheated on, I can’t be a***d again. If you’ve had that conversation or anything like that, I’d rather you said as I can’t be a***d."
Whilst, Callum reassures: "I’m telling you, we’re not all d***heads. I am reassuring you now."
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
