Callum Jones is happy with Molly Smith.
The ‘Love Island’ hunk returns from Casa Amor with the newcomer, only to discover that Shaughna Phillips had decided to stay loyal to him in the recoupling, and he admits while it’s "not nice", he thinks he made the right call.
As host Laura Whitmore welcomes them into the main villa, he says: "Obviously it’s not nice coming back to this. It’s a bit intense.
"But at the end of the day, I’ve gone with what I thought was the right decision, I’ve gone with my heart."
He insists his time with Molly in the second villa "brought out" a whole other side to him, but he’s quick to add he has nothing "against Shaughna".
He adds: "I went to Casa Amor, I had a chance to speak to Molly, it brought out a side to me I didn’t think I had. The way I felt about her after 2/3 days just clarified it to be honest.
"Not to say anything against Shaughna, I wasn’t unhappy with her, it’s just that this has been a sign for me that something has been missing and I think I’ve found it with Molly."
While Callum says he’s happy with his choice, his former flame throws some shade about the situation.
She quips: "I’m happy for Callum. I should have never trusted a scaffolder anyway."
Asked by Laura if she has anything to say, she adds: "Congrats, hun."
Meanwhile, Molly herself offers an apology to Shaughna – who turns to Luke Trotman for a cuddle – and says she didn’t want to "upset" anyone.
She tells Laura: "Obviously it’s horrendous to have to upset another person in the villa, so I do apologise about that."
‘Love Island’ airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One and ITV2.
