‘Love Island’ newcomer Jamie Clayton wants to confront Callum Jones over his Casa Amor stint.
The 28-year-old recruitment consultant will invite Shaughna Phillips on a date shortly after arriving on the ITV2 dating show tonight (11.02.20), and during their date he tells the 25-year-old democratic services officer he will confront her ex after Callum left her heartbroken when he returned from Casa Amor by recoupling with Molly Smith.
Admitting he has been thinking about Callum’s tactics, Jamie tells Shaughna: "I think Nas went about things the right way. I think what Callum did was a bit out of order.
"My plans when I go in are to talk to him… I think you’re too smart for him if I’m going to be honest."
Shaughna adds: "I think he’s done me a favour."
Jamie then asks Demi Jones – who was coupled up with Nas Majeed before he returned from Casa Amor with Eva Zapico – to join him on his second date.
After the dates, Demi and Shaughna spill all to the rest of the girls, and it seems like they might be fighting for the hunk’s attention.
Shaughna says: "He was firing some banter back. Kind of left me a little bit speechless to be completely honest. Anyone that leaves me speechless is doing well."
Demi gushes: "He’s a bit of a smooth talker. A cheeky compliment thrown in and that."
She has been getting close to fellow Islander Luke Mabbott after the pair shared a kiss on Monday’s episode (10.02.20), but Luke is left disappointed when Jamie invites the 21-year-old style adviser on a date.
Luke admits: "I can’t catch a break in this gaff. A spanner in the works is never good. I’m quite worried to be fair."
Later, he pulls Demi for a chat to find out where he stands because he doesn’t want to be part of another love triangle.
Demi confesses: "I am interested in getting to know Jamie. I think it would be silly if I didn’t. Me and you are such early days, I’m really enjoying getting to know you, absolutely, but at the same time I feel like I can’t nip this in the bud this time."
However, the pair then share a kiss, which gives the 24-year-old mixed signals.
In the Beach Hut, he says: "You can’t just play two people and be like whoever wins gets me. I’m not all about that."
