Louisa Lytton leaves The Jump

Louisa Lytton has been eliminated from ‘The Jump’.

The former ‘EastEnders’ actress has been the first star to lose her place in the celebrity winter sports contest after recording the lowest air jump in the final round.

Louisa and her fellow skeleton runners-up – James Argent, Dean Cain, Rebecca Adlington, Tamara Beckwith and Sid Owen – had been unable to take part in the final round live because of bad weather conditions.

Instead, their pre-recorded leaps were used instead.

A show spokesperson said: "Due to high winds it was decided that it was not safe for competitors to jump live. The health and safety of the competitors is paramount. Contingency jumps were recorded earlier with all competitors and the result of the show was decided based on these."

Earlier in the evening, the 26-year-old actress had gone head-to-head in the skeleton against Beth Tweddle, but the Olympic gymnast scored an easy victory, clocking the fastest time out of all the celebrity competitors.

Swimmer Rebecca was left in agony after her jump as she suffered a dislocated shoulder and had to be treated by medical staff.
