Louisa Johnson won’t tone down outfit for X Factor

Louisa Johnson won’t tone down her outfit for ‘The X Factor’.
The 18-year-old singer – who won the talent competition in 2015 – will take to the stage to perform her new single ‘So Good’ on Sunday (30.10.16), and says she won’t be toning down her outfit.
Her comments come after fellow ‘X Factor’ alumni Little Mix were slammed for wearing raunchy outfits when they appeared on the show earlier this month.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, the star said: "I thought Little Mix’s outfits were fine. They were really fine. They looked sick. There have been a few people [who have said things about my stage wear], but coming from the show, it’s difficult.
"You are on a TV show, you have to dress a certain way, you’ll get told off if you don’t. Then you come out of it and you want to dress how you want. It’s your personality. I don’t understand it.
"Everyone goes on about kids being confident with what they wear, young girls and boys, and then they get criticised for being comfortable with their bodies. It’s a bit confusing."
And Louisa insists she isn’t looking to start trouble, but says it’s in her "nature" to speak out when she disagrees with something.
She added: "It’s just in my nature, it’s just the person I am, I’ve always been like this. It’s not because it upsets me, I am a fiery person, I can’t help it. Obviously it is best to ignore it, though."
Previously, former Spice Girl Mel C hit out at the ‘Shout Out to My Ex’ hitmakers for being too provocative.
She said: "I love Little Mix. I loved them from ‘The X Factor’. I just thought they were so different.
"But they are getting more provocative. To me, they were kind of the closest thing to the Spice Girls we’ve seen. "They are all gorgeous and great singers. But they weren’t sexy and it’s got more and more that way. I love them – but I just say, ‘Stay you’."
