Louis Tomlinson working with Matoma on EDM track

Louis Tomlinson is set to release another EDM track as his second single.
The 25-year-old 1D star released his debut solo song ‘Just Hold On’ with Steve Aoki in 2016 and he has now been in the studio with tropical house DJ/producer Matoma, who has previously collaborated with Sean Paul and Coldplay, to "connect" and "have some fun" while making a potential hit.
Matoma, real name Tom Stræte Lagergren, told the Daily Star newspaper: "I can’t really tell too much. I remixed ‘Perfect’ for One Direction and Louis wanted to something so we went to the studio to connect and had some fun. My impression is he’s a passionate, talented person and is a really nice guy. The big thing is that he is humble and down to earth so maybe something will come."
Louis previously revealed his global hit ‘Just Hold On’ came about by chance after Steve replaced Calvin Harris at a show in Las Vegas which the One Direction heartthrob saw and he was so impressed he got in touch with the DJ for a collaboration.
Louis previously said: "I was on holiday with my friends in Vegas, and we were meant to see Calvin Harris’ show … [My friends and I] had an incredible night at [Steve’s show]. It was really, really fun. The show was amazing."
Meanwhile, Louis recently teased that a reunion with bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan is still on the cards, although they are all currently busy with their solo projects.
He said: "There’s time for that. Nobody knows when. I think we’re enjoying a bit of time to ourselves, exploring our own solo things."
