Louis Tomlinson never thought he’d be a young dad.
The One Direction singer became a father for the first time in January when his former fling Briana Jungwirth gave birth to their son Freddie.
Although he wasn’t expecting to have a child at the age of 24, he is loving every moment.
Speaking to Mel B as he filmed ‘America’s Got Talent’, Louis said: "I didn’t think I’d be having a kid at this age, but it is incredible."
Mel then asked him how old he was and he replied: "24."
The doting dad also revealed how he would love his little boy to play soccer like he does.
He said: "If he wants to, of course. I could coach him! He can do whatever he wants to do. He can try sport and if that doesn’t work, do music!"
Although Louis is enjoying fatherhood, he is currently involved in a battle with Briana over custody of Freddie.
He recently filed for joint legal and physical custody of the baby after Briana started being "inconsistent in giving Louis access".
The ‘Best Song Ever’ hitmaker and Briana had reached a temporary custody agreement in February, which allowed him to see Freddie for several hours at a time with no overnight visits but Louis wants to have more access to the seven-month-old tot.
He has also asked that he and Briana get equal time with their son, who currently lives with Briana in a rented $1 million home in Calabasas, paid for by Louis.
Sources then claimed that Briana had been limiting access because she didn’t want her son around Louis’s new girlfriend, Danielle Campbell.
