Lorraine Kelly, Martin Kemp and Deborah Meaden join Murder in Successville

Lorraine Kelly, Martin Kemp and Deborah Meaden have joined the cast of ‘Murder in Successville’.
The comedy crime show got the green light for a third series earlier this year and its writer Tom Davis has revealed he’s nabbed stellar lineup of household names to play the rookie recruits who give DI Sleet more crimes to solve in the world of celebrity.
He said: "This year we wanted to try and have people who felt like they were going to be a bit different and bring something new to it. Although it’s often hard to guess how each rookie will perform beforehand. When we were telling people we’d booked Deborah Meaden, they were just like, ‘Really? Is she funny?’ And she turned out to be one of the funniest people we’ve had on the show."
The third series of the BBC Three show was filmed in Dagenham and Tom revealed some of the guest stars were freaked out by the "really creepy, really horrible" set.
He told the Telegraph newspaper: "I think [this year’s] was an old medical testing facility. It was really creepy, really horrible. No one wanted to go anywhere on their own.

Professor Green and Reggie Yates have also signed up to ‘Murder in Successville’ and Tom says they’d love to have Victoria Beckham or Ant and Dec in the near future.
He added: "I’d love Victoria Beckham. I think she’d be really fun. Or either of the Beckhams. Ant and Dec would be amazing. They would be a dream."
‘Murder in Successville’ will air tonight on BBC Three at 10am and will be shown on BBC One on Saturday 22 April at 11.20pm
