Lorraine Kelly ‘jealous’ of Love Island Hayley’s Corrie cameo

Lorraine Kelly is "so jealous" of Hayley Hughes for appearing on ‘Coronation Street’.
The 58-year-old TV presenter would "love" to make a cameo on the cobbles, and admitted she feels envious of the axed ‘Love Island’ star for starring opposite Sue Nicholls in the ITV soap as an extra in Audrey Roberts’ salon.
Lorraine said: "I’m so jealous. I would love to do that."
Hayley admitted Sue was "lovely" when she met her on the ‘Corrie’ set.
The 21-year-old model said: "She is so nice. She’s lovely."
Hayley was dumped from the villa last week after she and Charlie Frederick were name one of the two most incompatible couples on the show, and the pair were then booted off the programme after receiving the fewest public votes.
Despite her axing, the blonde beauty has now set her sights on furthering her acting career, and hasn’t ruled out a return to ‘Corrie’.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, she said: "I just want to further my career in acting and work on that.
"I just want to take every opportunity."
Hayley would love to follow in the footsteps of former ‘Coronation Street’ star Michelle Keegan – who played barmaid Tina McIntyre for six years – and has already met her when she made a cameo in ‘Our Girl’.
She recently said: "I love Michelle … she was just a normal girl working in Selfridges and she’s done so well for herself. Who knows? It could happen to me.
"I met her on the set of ‘Our Girl’. I had a little featured part in the show."
