Jon Watts has been handed directorial duties, while John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein have written the script.
Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are overseeing the film for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios under both companies deal, in conjunction with Walt Disney Company, to share the rights superhero character.
‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is to focus on Parker’s time at high school and the roots of the character.
