Lisa Riley happy to be boring

Lisa Riley loves "being boring".
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress is very content with her fiancé Al – who she keeps out of the limelight – and their quiet life together so is in no rush to change things by getting married.
She said of the prospect of getting hitched: "I’m not ruling it out at all. Have we set a date? No.
"We are the happiest version of us.
"I love being boring. I embrace being boring and if that means going to the gym or going home and watching Netflix with my other half – who I love more than anything – I will."
The 43-year-old actress lost a staggering 12 stone in three years and though she’s happy with her figure now, she knows it will always be an "uphill struggle" for her to maintain her current frame.
She said: "I’m training every single day. At the ‘Emmerdale’ canteen, there are foods I do eat and foods I don’t eat – the old me would have been diving into the French fries, which I curveball now.
"I am the best version of me.
"I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I train.
"But for anyone who was as big as I was, it will always be an uphill struggle for life – that’s never going to go away."
Lisa believes anyone can transform themselves in the way she did because it was such a straightforward change she needed to make.
She added in an interview with Closer magazine: "I am not velcroed to the scales, that’s not healthy.
"There’s no magic pill or jab and if you want to do it, you can do it. Fundamentally, all it is is eat less, move more."
