Lisa Riley grateful to return to Emmerdale filming

Lisa Riley feels "really lucky" to be back on ‘Emmerdale’.
The 43-year-old actress is feeling grateful to be filming in the famous fictional village once again after recently confirming she is heading back to the ITV soap as Mandy Dingle, with the character set to return to screens in mid-September.
She wrote on Instagram: "the village is just STUNNING. If I sit in this garden long enough my freckles are going to DOUBLE! It’s such a glorious day, I do feel REALLY REALLY lucky #emmerdale #happyatwork #sunshine #glorious #thatsky ‬especially after the delicious time I’ve just had with my family (sic)"
Lisa revealed last month she is to reprise her role as Mandy alongside her on-screen son Vinny (Bradley Johnson), following a brief comeback in the new year.

Back on your screens mid September, Mandy’s back with her son Vinny, she is going to make you laugh, and I’m very sure the writers will be adding some "Mandy Mischief" along the way for good measure. Lisa – who initially starred in the ITV soap from 1995 to 2001 – is most excited to reunite with her co-stars, and has assured viewers they will not be "let down" by Mandy’s return.
She added: "The biggest excitement for me personally is being back with all my old friends, who I love like REAL FAMILY….I want to REALLY thank you ALL for you endless support and gorgeousness regarding my return, I’m very you are not going to be let down. Lisa was back in the Dales in January for a brief return, alongside Vinny, and the ‘Three Girls’ star admitted beforehand she had turned down a lengthier comeback due to other commitments.
