Lisa George ‘verbally abused and goaded’ in the street

Lisa George has been left "horrified" after she was branded a "s**g" by someone in the street.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress was out and about in Altrincham when she was verbally abused and "aggressively goaded" by a woman and her pals.
She wrote on Instagram: "Omg I have just walked Into #altrincham to meet a friend and been verbally abused by a blonde woman with a black eye and her two mates. They aggressively goaded me and I didn’t reply that I was "Beth" from Corrie. They then called me a f*****g s**g! Horrific abuse in broad daylight when I was simply going about my business. I don’t appreciate this. (sic)"
Lisa has asked other Altrincham residents to "be aware", and claimed they were heard saying they were going to "work the town".
She added: "I was not working and I’m allowed a private life. I do not tolerate bullies who openly abuse people with no cause or reason. Please be aware everyone as they were heard stating that they were going to "work the town"! (sic)"
Lisa’s abuse comes just days after former ‘Corrie’ star Michelle Collins hit back at trolls after being "vilified" for sending her daughter to private school.
She tweeted: "I m sorry I sent my daughter to a private school because that’s what worked for me and her at the time . Education is , was very Important to me . Am I now going to be vilified and bullied for it ? I can believe the nastiness on twitter and from people I even know ! (sic)"
Michelle’s former ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Charlie Condou – who played Marcus Dent from 2011 to 2014, when she starred as Stella Price – advised her to try to ignore the trolls.
He wrote: "Don’t apologise to anyone Michelle. F**k em. None of anyone’s business xx (sic)"
She replied: "Yes your right Charlie but it’. bloody makes me mad people just judge , judge , judge it’s not healthy ! (sic)"
