Linda Robson urinated on the floor on a train in front of an embarrassed conductor on Monday (27.03.17) after she accidentally opened the toilet door mid-flow.
The ‘Loose Women’ panelist was left red-faced earlier this week on board a train from Manchester to London when she hit the wrong button following an announcement and the door swung open in front of a ticket man while her knickers were round her ankles.
Speaking on the show on Wednesday (29.03.17), she said: "We went to film in Manchester, me and Andrea McLean, on Monday. We had a very long day – from 6 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock. We filmed up there all day and it’s going to be on next week’s show. But on the train on the way home, it was only about 10 minutes from Euston so I thought I would quickly run to the loo because I’ve got the car journey home then. I got to the toilet and it’s one of those little round toilets so I go in there, pressed all the buttons and locked all the doors and sat on the toilet seat.
"And then it kept going: ‘The toilet door is not locked.’ So mid-stream, I jumped up, panicked, went to press the lock on the door, pressed open and the toilet door opened. I had my knickers around my ankles and the ticket man is standing there with his hands in front of his face and I started laughing and there was a mess all over the floor.
"So I then had to go back, sort myself out, pull my trousers up and go back to my seat. Andrea and the ‘Loose Women’ team had heard and seen everything."
Although the 59-year-old actress found the blunder hilarious, she has admitted she’s now been put off the idea of using a toilet while travelling on a train ever again.
