Lil’ Kim has signed up for ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 41-year-old rapper is believed to have finally agreed to take part in the next series of the reality show after being offered the highest-ever amount to be paid to a contestant.
Bosses have reportedly hounded her for years to take part in the programme and they’ve now given her an offer she can’t refuse.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it."
The biggest sum of money to be given to a star to join ‘CBB’ is £500,000, which the likes of David Gest and Katie Price received, and Lil’ Kim is expected to get something similar.
The ‘Magic Stick’ hitmaker – whose real name is Kimberly Jones – has plenty of experience of reality television having been on ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in the US.
And bosses are hoping she will use the opportunity to address speculation she had plastic surgery on her nose and bleached her skin and that she will make it an "explosive" series with her "outspoken" nature.
The insider added: "This will be Kim’s chance to set the record straight and have her say on all the rumours. Bosses are hoping she will be outspoken inside the house and make it an explosive series."
It was recently revealed that former glamour model Sam Fox is expected to enter the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
Meanwhile, former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, Lady Colin Campbell, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley, former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Spencer Matthews, ‘Mob Wives’ Renee Graziano and ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ star Helen Lederer are all on the hit list.
