Liberty X and Mis-Teeq are to reunite.
The ‘Just A Little’ hitmakers – made up of ‘The Voice’ winner Kevin Simm, Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Jessica Taylor and Keli Young – have already lined up a comeback gig, at Birmingham Pride festival on May 28, three years after they last reunited on TV show ‘The Big Reunion’.
Michelle said: "We have gigs in the pipeline and we’re actually doing Birmingham Gay Pride in a few weeks time. Kevin will be performing with us still.
"We haven’t released music in a while. I can see us doing a lot more with Kevin now."
The group’s Birmingham gig will be their first performance as a five-piece since summer 2014, while Mis-Teeq – made up of Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash – split in 2005.
But the ‘Scandalous’ hitmakers are said to be planning to meet up next month to talk about how they can reunite.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "The girls have been reminiscing about the old days. They think there is a big appetite to bring back Mis-Teeq and have been discussing how.
"Su-Elise lives in Australia but is back in the UK in May for a holiday, so they plan to meet up to talk about it.
"It’s very early days but they are definitely going to do some shows to see what the reaction is like."
Just last month, Alesha admitted she was keen to team up with Sabrina and Su-Elise again.
She said: "I’d love the girls and I to get together in some shape or form. I’d never rule it out."
