Liam Gallagher said he was ‘into’ the reunion of Blur, his band Oasis’ Britpop rivals, in 2008 because he thought it would put an end to Kaiser Chiefs.
At the time, he told NME: ‘I’m right into it, [because] it’ll finish off the Kaiser Chiefs and put them to bed. There’s nothing worse than a shit Blur.’
