Manchester music legend Liam Gallagher was the night’s surprise artist.
The former Oasis frontman jetted into his hometown after performing at a music festival in Germany on Sunday (04.06.17).
There was no Oasis reunion with his brother Noel for the One Love Manchester concert but Liam more than made up for the guitarist’s absence.
He played three songs – including his debut solo single ‘Wall of Glass’ – and the most special moment was when he was joined by Coldplay’s Chris Martin for a rendition of ‘Live Forever’ which Liam dedicated to the victims of the Manchester terror attack.
And one lucky fan got to go home with a special memento of the night as Liam tossed his tambourine into the crowd before hugging Chris.
