Shortly afterwards the ‘Bleeding Love’ hitmaker – who won X Factor in 2006 – opened the show with a bang as she joined the rapper Pitbull on stage to perform ‘Messin Around’ with the help of Cassadee Pope.
The 31-year-old singer was also nominated for her cover duet with Adam Lambert of Little Big Towns ‘Girl Crush’.
Not only did the brunette beauty perform on stage, she also presented awards alongside Charles Kelley.
