Lee Ryan signs up to Strictly Come Dancing

Lee Ryan has reportedly signed up to the new series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The Blue singer has become the latest celebrity to jump on board the line-up for the forthcoming instalment of the ballroom and latin show after bosses approached him because they thought his "charisma" and charm would win over the audience.
A source told The Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lee will make great TV – he’s naturally charismatic and very funny."
And, although the show is notorious for the "Strictly curse" – which sees celebrities split up with their lovers in order to date their dance partners – Lee’s secret girlfriend, whom he’s been dating for a year, is "totally unfazed" by him taking part.
The 35-year-old hunk – who recently appeared in ‘EastEnders’ as barman Woody – is no doubt hoping to go further than his band mate Simon Webbe after he finished runner up when he appeared on the show’s dance floor four years ago.
The official line up will be announced next week but it’s believed Lee isn’t the only singer to slip into some sequins as Steps’ Faye Tozer has also signed up.
An insider said recently: "Few in the past have had quite so much professional performance time as Faye. Everyone expects her to be a strong contender but it will raise more questions over whether it’s fair for someone who has danced professionally to be up against people with no experience."
Former Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts is also said to be on the line up – even though she has plenty of training thanks to her previous dance experience.
An source explained: "Ashley is already a hot favourite because of her dance experience with the Dolls as well as having trained as a dancer.
"Although she might not have done much ballroom or Latin, being able to pick up choreography quickly as well as her rhythm is sure to give her an edge."
