Lea Michele has gotten a tattoo in tribute of her late boyfriend and ‘Glee’ co-star Cory Monteith.
The 29-year-old actress had the number "5" etched onto her side in reference to Cory’s ‘Glee’ character Finn Hudson, a quarterback in the high school football team who he played in the musical Fox television series from 2009 until his death.
The piece was designed by New York City’s Prospect Tattoos and Lea shared a picture of it on her Instagram account, alongside the caption: "And one more … for my Quarterback… #5 (sic)"
The couple – who met on the show – dated for two years until Cory’s tragic death from a drug overdose in July 2013.
It’s the second permanent tribute the ‘Scream Queens’ actress has had done after she shared a picture of her coffee cup finger art, which she had done in memory of her late grandmother who passed away last week.
Alongside the photo of the small tattoo, she wrote yesterday (11.04.16): "I lost my beautiful grandma this week … She wasn’t your typical grandma. She gave me my first cup of coffee when I was 8 years old. She said something inappropriate to every boyfriend I’ve ever had. She never made pie or knit me a sweater. But she was my grandma and I loved her … More than anything … I love you Grandma @prospect_tattoos Bronx NY (sic)"
