Lauren Jauregui believes Fifth Harmony are worked like ‘slaves’

Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui believes the group have been worked like "slaves".
The 20-year-old band member – who now makes up one quarter of the group alongside Dinah Hansen, Normani Hamilton and Ally Brooke following Camila Cabello’s departure – has been caught criticising the group’s management in a leaked audio tape and has claimed they have been overworked.
Speaking in the recording, which has been obtained by the Mirror Online, the brunette beauty can be heard saying: "They are making decisions on a regular basis to f**k us over, to make us literal slaves, like literally slaves Ally."
And the musician has claimed her and the group – who are currently being represented by Maverick entertainment company after they changed their management earlier this year – are disappointed they have seen "nothing" from the hard "labour" they have been putting in.
She continued: "We’re doing f***ing labour every day and we see nothing."
Although the group are disheartened by how much effort they have been putting into their music, the ‘Work From Home’ hitmakers have vowed to continue as a foursome with the same band name and will release more hit tracks in the future, despite the "fifth" part being obsolete.
Speaking previously about Fifth Harmony’s future, a source said: "They will go on as four strong women, as Fifth Harmony. They’re not going to drop the name because someone wants to ruin the party."
Despite their efforts the remaining members have revealed they are upset by Camila’s decision to quit, and "pleaded" with her for many months not to leave.
In an emotional statement about her departure, they said: "Over the past several months, we have consistently made every effort to sit down and discuss the future of Fifth Harmony with Camila. We have spent the past year and a half (since her initial solo endeavor) trying to communicate to her and her team all of the reasons why we felt Fifth Harmony deserved at least one more album of her time, given the success of this past year that we’d all worked so hard for. We called for group meetings which she refused, we asked LA Reid and the label to step in and try to set meetings, which again, she refused. We even went as far as group counseling which she did not show up to. So no, after months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations in fact never happened, although we pleaded. We have tried with exhausted efforts and hearts to keep this group alive as the five of us, and we want it to be very clear that unfortunately those efforts were not mutual. (sic)"
