Larry Lamb has been crowned President of the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star melted the hearts of the nation in Sunday (13.11.16) night’s show when he swam through a moss-riddled lake to rescue his competitor Scarlett Moffatt after her canoe capsized during the Saviours Challenge, and his seems his good deed has paid off as he’s been chosen by the public to take control of the camp and allocate the chores.
Scarlett – who is most famous for starring on ‘Gogglebox’ – was also selected to be the Vice President as the duo work together to maintain the smooth running of the jungle base.
After learning of her new role, Scarlett said in Monday’s (14.11.16) show: "I’ve never really had any leadership in any way. I don’t think I can handle all this power."
The pair decided to make Lisa Snowdon the Camp Chef as she has a flare for whipping up treats, while Jordan Banjo – who admitted previously he couldn’t cook but wanted to learn – was chosen to join the television presenter in the cooking area to help learn the trick of trade.
Scarlett suggested Ola Jordan did the washing up because she enjoyed it and selected Olympic hockey player Sam Quek join her because they’ve bonded over the past two days.
‘Emmerdale’ hunk Adam Thomas and comedian Joel Dommett were appointed Camp Cleaners are were burdened with the task of cleaning out the toilet, sorting out the rubbish, sweeping the communal areas and washing their camp mates’ smelly clothes.
Finally, Carol Vorderman and Wayne Bridge were put on camp maintenance and had to ensure that the water was boiled, that there was firewood and tend the allotment.
Scarlett – keen to keep the peace – concluded: "I’m just going to be really easy on everyone. If anyone hasn’t done their job I’m going to have to make sure Larry tells them."
