Lady Leshurr has been confirmed for ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The 30-year-old rapper is the 10th celebrity to be announced for the upcoming series of the ITV figure skating competition, and admitted she’s "petrified" about taking to the ice.
After revealing the news to Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely on KISS FM on Wednesday (30.09.20), she said: "Oh my gosh!
"Literally I don’t know what I’ve got myself in for. Everybody knows me to be that person to just throw myself into the deep end and I just wing it a lot of the time.
"I don’t know what is going to happen now. Yeah, I’m petrified, I’m not going to lie."
Leshurr admitted that despite having only skated a couple of times when she was younger, she’s always wanted to learn.
She added: "I’ve always wanted to ice skate, so what’s better than doing it in front of millions of people.
"I’m looking forward to having a new skill, [skating] backwards and just showing off in front of my friends."
Perri – who competed on the show earlier this year – offered some words of support, and told her to just "enjoy" the experience.
He said: "Whenever you can just get on the ice, you’re going to enjoy it, you’re going to have a blast."
The announcement comes after it was revealed Rebekah Vardy will also be taking part, and skier Graham Bell and athlete Colin Jackson were the seventh and eighth celebrities confirmed for the show over the weekend.
They will be joined by Myleene Klass, Joe-Warren Plant, Denise van Outen, Faye Brookes, Jason Donovan and Sonny Jay on the show.
Commenting on how her husband, Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, reacted, Rebekah said: "He thinks it’s a brilliant idea.
"He’s really looking forward to watching me. And he hopes I don’t fall over too much."
