Lady Gaga’s song Just Another Day was inspired by David Bowie

Lady Gaga’s new song ‘Just Another Day’ was inspired by David Bowie.
The 30-year-old musician has admitted her latest LP called ‘Joanne’, which was named after her late aunt, has admitted one track featured on the album is a medley of numerous iconic musicians, and she has revealed it "heirs from [David Bowie]" as well as T.Rex’s Marc Bolan, The Beatles as well as "obscure London metal stuff".
Speaking with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ on Tuesday (04.10.16), the blonde beauty said: "It’s probably the most New York-glam-pop song on the album.
"It’s the one that heirs from [David] Bowie and Marc Bolan [of T. Rex] and then maybe from some obscure London metal stuff, the Beatles. It also kind of airs from the electroclash movement from New York and that’s kind of when I started coming up, was right after that."
Meanwhile, the ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker – who broke off her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney in July this year after five years of dating – has revealed her split from ‘The Other Woman’ actor inspired her album, but it was also influenced by "all of the men" in her life.
Speaking previously, she said: "When you listen to the album, it’s clear the influence that all the men in my life have made on this record. That’s at the middle of it, as well: I always wanted to be a good girl. And Joanne was such a good girl.
"I’m figuring out all of those relationships in my life through the music, and going very deeply into it."
Lady Gaga has also revealed her father is also referenced to on the album because she was trying to "understand him" through music.
She explained: "But I have such a rebellious spirit, and my father was always very angry. He drank because of his sister’s death. I was trying to understand him through making this record, and in that, also trying to understand why I love men that are cowboys."
‘Joanne’ will be released on October 21.
