Lady Gaga’s LP about being a ‘tough woman’

Lady Gaga’s new album is about being a "tough woman".
The 30-year-old pop superstar teased fans of what to expect with her next record with the release of the lead single ‘Perfect Illusion’ last week and now she has said that the rest of the album is about her strength and overcoming certain struggles.
She said: "I think I am lucky I have a great family. I have advice ingrained in me not to give up. I’m a tough girl. And that is actually what the album is about. I’m a very tough woman."
The ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker has also opened up about having to "stabilise" after the release of her 2013 LP ‘Artpop’ because of her fast rise to stardom.
She told the Metro newspaper: "I think a few years ago I was just figuring out how to hang on with life changing so much.
"When your career takes off like that you become a public figure. Anonymity is gone forever. It takes a moment to stabilise."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty has recorded a track with Florence Welch on her new album.
She previously shared: "There’s a feature on the album that I think you will be very excited about. Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about. I just thought, ‘Who do I want to sing with?’ She’s really to me, if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible."
Gaga also revealed the lyrics on ‘Perfect Illusion’ deal with the pressures of social media and the "many fake things" in the world.
Speaking about the track, she said: "People feel pressured to live up to that perfect illusion in their real lives. This is about accepting that and letting go. I’m not saying not to use your phone, I’m not that crazy. I think social media is great. But there’s also a lot of things that are on the internet that aren’t reality … So this song is about raging against it and letting it go. It’s about wanting people to re-establish that human connection."
