Lady Colin Campbell has claimed Phillip Schofield once tried to "shove [her]" at an event.
The 70-year-old star has opened up about the alleged incident, after her son Dima Ziadie accused the ‘This Morning’ host of "trying to shove" his mother.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "I was in a walkway, and Phillip Schofield bounced into me, shoved me, trying to knock me down, obviously so I would look ridiculous or people would think I was drunk or some such thing.
"I said to him, ‘Excuse me’, but I didn’t know who it was until he’d walked past.
"I realised he’d done it deliberately, and Dima confirmed he had done it deliberately."
Taking to social media after his mum’s recent appearance on ‘This Morning’ last week, Dima tweeted: "I personally remember when you tried to shove my mother at the ITV awards. You hate authoritative women!"
The rivalry between Lady C – who appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2015 – and Phil heated up last week when he hit out at Lady C’s tell-all book about Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan during her interview on the brunch-time show.
Branding the book "tawdry and undignified", he said: "I’d be surprised any of the royals would want to get involved with more gossip after your Princess Diana book."
However, she defended herself and called him "ignorant".
She argued: "It’s history in the making. That shows how ignorant you are if I may point out.
"My Diana biography was named the most believable by People magazine and had it not been for that biography, Diana would have thrown Prince Charles to the wolves."
