Lacey Turner would train as a midwife if she ever left ‘EastEnders’ again.
The 28-year-old beauty – who is known for portraying Lacey Turner in the soap – is adamant she doesn’t want to quit the show any time soon following her break between 2010 and 2014 but, if she ever did, she’d train as a medical professional.
She said: "I really love my job. It’s not often you go to work and love your job. Even if I won the lottery I’d still go to work on the show every day. When I left for four years between 2010 and 2014 I missed the people and the character of Stacey. I also missed the crew and the quick pace of the show. It’s like a big family. I’m a home bird. If I ever left ‘EastEnders’ I’d train as a midwife."
The brunette beauty joined the soap when she was 16 years old and, although she’s got a "terrible" memory, she has admitted it takes her minutes to learn her script before bed.
She explained: "They just seem to go in my head and I don’t know how. I’ve got a terrible memory, I couldn’t tell you what I did yesterday but I could recite an old scene. It’s strange, I just look at them and they go in! It’s the last thing I do before I go to bed."
Lacey’s fiancé Matt Kay added to OK! magazine: "We’ll get into bed, she’ll flick through and that’s it. I don’t know how she does it."
