Lacey Chabert’s daughter was rushed to hospital with a "serious allergic reaction" earlier this week.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress took to her Instagram Story to publicly thank the doctors and nurses at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in California on Thursday (05.07.18) night for looking after her 22-month-old daughter Julia, whom she has with David Nehdar, after she developed a reaction to something.
She wrote: "I want to publicly thank the dear people in the emergency room at Cedar Sinai Hospital. Julia had a very serious allergic reaction. Not only did they take care of her, but they also calmed down this extremely panicked momma. Julia is completely fine now because of their care. I can’t thank them enough for how well they looked after our family. God bless them! (sic)."
She finished the post with the hashtags "angels" and "gratitude."
The 35-year-old star usually keeps details about her daughter under wraps but she admitted shortly after her birth that she had named her little one after her mother Julia.
She said at the time: "My mother and I have always had a very close relationship, so I wanted to honour my mom by naming my daughter Julia as well."
And the brunette beauty is adamant she’ll never forget the moment she locked eyes on her daughter for the first time in the delivery room because her heart "completely melted."
She said: "Meeting my daughter for the first time was the most special moment of my life. They laid Julia on my chest in the delivery room and my heart completely melted. She was just so peaceful."
But Lacey really struggled when she had to return to work and leave her baby with a sitter.
She explained: "I feel like I’m that typical new parent that’s nervous about everything. This is the first time I’ve actually been away from her, so I’m nervous today just that she’s okay and she’s without her mom. Having her on set with me was wonderful. It was nice to have that part of myself back and to be working again, and to do both–I think it’s hard to manage both all the time, but for that three-week period, I got to do what I love and have her with me."
