Kym Marsh thought her and her daughter "were dead" when they got lost in jungle of sand dunes.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star turned 42 yesterday (13.06.18) but appeared to celebrate on some sandy hills, and the actress feared the worst for herself and 21-year-old Emilie Cunliffe.
Emilie wrote on Twitter: "Why did me and @msm4rsh get lost in a jungle of sand Dunes yesterday in the heat for about 40 mins!! [laughing emoji] (sic)"
Kym replied: "I thought we were dead," alongside a number of laughing emojis.
Despite the apparent dice with death, the ‘Corrie’ star – who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap – had a "wonderful day".
She tweeted: "Thank you for all your birthday messages yesterday!!! Had a wonderful day!!! Xxx (sic)"
What’s more, Kym received the "best gift" she could have hoped for when her seven-year-old daughter Polly – who she shares with ex Jamie Lomas – described her as the "best mum in the world" in an emotional speech.
In a video clip shared on the star’s Twitter, the youngster said: "I just want to say, happy birthday to you, mum, and I hope it’s a really good day for you.
"I’m sorry I didn’t get you a proper present. I’ll get you a proper present another day.
"But you’re a wonderful mum, you’re a great mum, you’re the best mum in the world, and I know I’m happy to have a mum like you."
Kym added the caption: "This is literally the best gift I could have ever received!!!! Her little speech last night at my birthday dinner (sic)"
