Kym Marsh’s boyfriend gave her a framed poem he’d written about their relationship for Valentine’s Day.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress’ personal trainer beau Matt Baker treated her to a night in a hotel complete with champagne lunch, massage and a five-course meal before surprising her with the thoughtful and very personal gift.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "He’d booked a beautiful room and after we arrived we had a lovely lunch with champagne, followed by a massage each.
"In the evening we had a five-course meal with wine-pairing at the hotel’s gorgeous restaurant. Matt wrote me a poem which he had framed. He referenced loads of lovely things about our relationship in it; he’s very good with words and I loved it. We both prefer sentimental gifts to anything else, although I felt spoilt with my night away!"
As well as the kind presents from Matt, Kym’s four-year-old daughter Polly – who she has from her former marriage to actor Jamie Lomas – also gave her a gift on February 14.
The 39-year-old star – who also has children, David, 21, and 19-year-old Emilie from a previous relationship – added: "I couldn’t wait to get back and see Polly, who gave me an inflatable heart which I thought was very cute."
