Kym Marsh says her daughter Emilie Cunliffe has "already changed" since becoming a mum.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress became a grandmother on May 3rd when her daughter gave birth to a son, and the cobbles star – who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap – enjoyed having a "celebratory drink" to toast the new addition to her family.
She said: "Having a baby changes your life and Emilie’s has already changed. She is so in love with her son.
"She’s not drinking but I had a celebratory drink to wet the baby’s head."
Kym admitted she couldn’t wait to show off the picture of Emilie’s newborn on the ‘Corrie’ set, and she is "so proud" of the 22-year-old star.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: "So I’m now officially Loli, which is what I’m being called instead of Grandma.
"I’ve been showing his picture to everyone at ‘Corrie’.
"I’m so in love with my grandson, he’s a little poppet.
"Emilie is now at home getting to grips with being a new mum and she’s been fantastic. She was a warrior during the birth; I’m so proud of her.
"They’re living with me and I feel so lucky to have the baby around. I get to cuddle him all the time."
Kym, 42, recently admitted she felt "honoured" to have played a part in bringing the youngster into the world after she was asked to be Emilie’s birthing partner.
She wrote: "I was so honoured to have been a part of bringing him into the world. My beautiful grandson, I love you I will always love you and I promise to help guide you through life as best I can. Welcome to the world "Baby Hoz" #name to follow (sic)"
