Kym Marsh hints at Nicola Thorp return

Kym Marsh has hinted Nicola Thorp could return to ‘Coronation Street’.
Nicola – who played Nicola Rubinstein in the ITV soap – departed Weatherfield earlier this month after a year on the cobbles, but Kym (Michelle Connor) has dropped a huge hint that she might be back at some point.
She said: "It was announced recently that Nicola Thorp is leaving the soap. I’m sure it’s not the last we’ve seen of her – she’s a great actress."
In the meantime, Kym has backed Nicola and fellow ‘Corrie’ star Catherine Tyldesley, who is set to leave her role as Eva Price, to do "really well" in their next projects.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: "Last week, Catherine Tyldesley filmed her final scenes on Corrie. I wasn’t involved in her last scene but I heard it was quite emotional.
"Sadly, I didn’t see her to give her a hug goodbye but I send her a text.
"She’s a great actress and I’m sure she’ll do really well in whatever she does next."
Nicola confirmed earlier this month that she had departed ‘Corrie’, after her character moved to Bristol with Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
She said: "Hey everyone, I just wanted to say I’ve had the most incredible year here working at Corrie.
"To be involved in Phelan’s demise has been an absolute treat, and I hope you’ve all been enjoying it as much as I have enjoyed filming it.
"I’ve got wonderful friends, a family that I’ve made here, and I’ll be really, really sad to say goodbye for now.
"Thanks for having me, and keep on watching. You’ve been the most incredible fans that anyone can ever ask for, so thank you."
