Kym Marsh thinks her last 12 months on ‘Coronation Street’ have been the "best" she’s ever had.
The 41-year-old actress has portrayed Michelle Connor in the longstanding ITV programme for 11 years, but the star has described the past year working on the show as her most favourite time on the streets of Weatherfield because of the intense plot lines she has been given.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (11.09.17), the brunette beauty said: "It’s been great. I’ve been giving some great opportunities.
"This is my best twelve months on ‘Coronation Street’. Michelle has no clue (of who her stalker is). He’s now dating Maria. Imagine how shocked she’s going to be."
And the star has teased her plotline is set to get "a lot darker" as her character becomes the victim of stalker and her ex boyfriend Will.
She said: "It gets a lot darker. That story has got so much more to come."
Kym has revealed her own life has mirrored the current storyline as she has been subjected to online accounts who have pretended to be her and her six-year-old daughter Polly.
Kym – who also has Emily, 20, and David, 22, – explained: "I’ve had a few people make fake accounts of me on social media sites. The strange thing for me was that I had some flowers delivered to me at home saying ‘sorry you couldn’t make our date’. It was all a bit weird.
"When we delved into it, we found someone pretending to be me for the past ten years, having conversations with this guy as if they were having some sort of relationship. So it’s just really strange.
"They’ve made accounts of my children and more recently my six year old – which is the most disturbing thing."
