Kyle Richards spends "weeks" crying and feeling "stressed out" while shooting ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’.
The 48-year-old star insists it is far more gruelling filming the reality TV show than it is being an actor as it involves so much true life drama and she often feels "overwhelmed" as it’s hard to shake things off at the end of the day.
She said: "Reality TV is completed different to doing scripted work. It is your real life and all the problems and fighting stick with you.
"Many times I spend nights and weeks crying and stressed out. It is very anxiety provoking and overwhelming.
"For me this season, it was more of the reunion. We address all those things that come up again and it is like walking on eggshells and we are all stressed out because of the reunion."
But despite the stress and anxiety the shows causes her, Kyle insists the good outweighs the bad.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Amazing things have come out of the show. I have opened my sixth store and producing scripted TV.
"While there is drama we also have a lot of fun and go to amazing places like Greece, Hong Kong and New York.
"At the beginning everything is great and everyone is getting along and doing our own thing and then one person says something and it all explodes."
Meanwhile, Kyle is doting on her nine-month-old great-niece Lily, the daughter of her niece Nicky Hilton and her husband James Rothschild, but she insists the tot will never appear on ‘Real Housewives’.
She said: "Her baby is absolutely beautiful. I spent a day with them in New York and she started crawling.
"We were like ‘Yay she’s crawling’. Her daughter will never make an appearance on the show, I can guarantee that."
