Kristen Bell’s Frozen theory

Kristen Bell believes ‘Frozen’ has been a huge success because there is "no villain".
The 38-year-old Hollywood actress voiced Princess Anna in the 2013 Disney 3D animation which told the story of Anna’s magical sister Elsa, Queen of Arendelle, who turns her kingdom into an ice world.
The plot focused on Elsa’s redemption and the reconciliation between the two sisters and Bell thinks it resonated with children and adults because it gave a platform to an unconventional "hero without a cape" and allowed the audience to "fight for the underdog".
Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, Kristen said: "In the final draft, it was like, ‘No, not only does she not need to be forgiven for anything, she’s the most sympathetic character in the whole piece.’
"It’s a much more complex story when there’s no villain. I want to watch someone fight for the underdog, I want to watch a hero without a cape."
Kristen – who has two children, Lincoln, five, and Delta, three, with her husband Dax Shepard – is reprising her role as Anna in the ‘Frozen’ sequel.
The actress has been reunited with Idina Menzel as Elsa, Josh Gadd as Olaf and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and completed her voice recordings back in April.
Speaking about the eagerly anticipated movie, she said: "You know I can’t say a lot because Disney have people everywhere but I have recorded the movie. There will be edits before it’s finished. I know the songs, I know the story, it’s very good. I can’t say much more than that."
