Kristen Bell makes time in her schedule to sleep with her husband.
The ‘Frozen’ star says she is "pretty decent" about keeping tabs of the last time she had sex with Dax Shepard so they can make sure it is not too long between times.
She said: "We’re pretty decent about staying on top of it. We’ll be like, ‘Okay, it’s been how many days?’ We find a night when nobody is coming over and we don’t have to work super-early in the morning, and then we slot it in."
And the 35-year-old actress – who has Lincoln, three, and Delta, 18 months, with the 41-year-old actor – used to run away from fights with her husband until he helped her get her "act together".
She added to Redbook magazine: "We fought a lot and I loved a dramatic exit. If I could slam a door, I felt so powerful. If I could get in my car and screech away, it was even better.
"[Shepard] said to me, ‘If we have an issue, you can’t leave. We’re going to talk or I’m not going to do this with you.’ I loved him so much that I was like, ‘I better get my act together.’"
Meanwhile, Kristen previously revealed the couple are "very focused" on making their marriage work.
She shared: "One thing I like to reiterate … is that we’ve done a lot of work on our relationship. We’re very focused on staying together. We’ve made a choice to love each other but realise relationships are a lot of work. I think it’s responsible to be honest about that.
"It’s hard work, working out the kinks of how learning how to argue because we disagree on almost every topic on the planet. We earned our relationship, which we’re very proud of. We’re the Paula Abdul video ‘Opposites Attract’ personified. I thought I had this life thing down pat when I met Dax. I didn’t realise that I needed a much bigger toolbox to have confrontations and disagreements with people … You do better in the gym with a trainer; you don’t figure out how to cook without reading a recipe. Therapy is not something to be embarrassed about."
