Kim Kardashian West’s Zika fear

Kim Kardashian West worried about catching the Zika virus on her trip to Cuba.
The 35-year-old star – who has three-year-old daughter North and eight-month-old son Saint with husband Kanye West – became concerned about the disease during a family holiday in May, and questioned whether they could take a test when they got back to the US.
A worried Kim asked her sister Kourtney Kardashian about the check while the pair were speeding along in Havana in a vintage hot pink convertible with her assistant Stephanie.
In a clip from an upcoming ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ episode, Kim asks: "I wonder if there’s like a test we can get for Zika? Like when we get back home to clear everyone’s heads."
Kourtney responds: "Have you been bit?"
Kim admits she hasn’t been bitten and then asks her sister the same question.
The raven-haired beauty replies: "No."
The siblings headed to Cuba in May with their sister Khloe Kardashian and Kim’s rapper husband Kanye.
Zika virus is mainly spread by mosquitoes and is a mild infection which isn’t harmful to most people.
But it can be more serious for pregnant women and is thought to be the cause of birth defects in some cases.
There have been outbreaks of Zika reported in the Pacific region, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Cuba is located in the northern Caribbean, hence Kim’s concerns.
