Kim Kardashian West’s son Saint is "all better" after being admitted to hospital with pneumonia.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has confirmed her two-year-old son was treated for the condition, where a person’s lungs gets inflamed, and admits it was the scariest thing seeing her little boy hooked up on oxygen machines and IVs.
Taking to Twitter, Kim shared: "My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thanks every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint (sic)"
It comes after TMZ reported that Saint was rushed to hospital in the Los Angeles area on Thursday (28.12.17), where he received treatment. Kim and Kanye West are said to have remained at his bedside, sharing overnight duties.
It was understandably not the end to 2017 that Kim – who also has four-year-old daughter North – wanted as she had had such a great 12 months after finding out she was going to be a mother again. Kim and Kanye are due to welcome a new baby into the world in 2018 via a surrogate.
Reflecting on her best moments of 2017, she said: "In 2017, my focus was on family, travel and launching my dream businesses: KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance. As the new year approaches, I feel so blessed to have had such an amazing year … Kanye and I were so excited to find out that we were expecting! I can’t wait to welcome our little girl in the new year. North and Saint will be the best big brother and sister to her."
