Kim Kardashian West "so wanted the attention" when she first became famous.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star admits she was desperate to be noticed during her younger years but her techniques were not received well by her close pal and PR guru Jonathan Cheban.
In a video posted on her website, she said: "When I was living on Robertson [Boulevard], it was like paparazzi central. I was living right behind Kitson, and every time I’d go to the gym or go eat, every paparazzi would ask me questions and I would be like, ‘Hey, guys!’ Like, I so wanted the attention.
"Jonathan was like, ‘This has got to stop. Do you think Victoria Beckham sits and does all these interviews?’ [He said,] ‘Do you think everyone else has smiles on their faces? You are too happy, you are smiling way too much. Put your sunglasses on. You need a whole makeover and you need to stop talking and stop smiling.’"
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old television personality’s husband Kanye West previously revealed he believes his wife is the best example of "modern day everything".
He shared: "I thank Olivier for designing his collection around my wife… this is visionary as I believe that Kim is our modern day everything. I thank Demna for using the "I feel like Pablo" sweatshirts in his show, this is my friend and we’ve bounced ideas and references for years since the time when he designed for YEEZY Season 1 … Olivier designed clothes for my show… That was real, that was groundbreaking, that is a Real Friend.
