Kim Kardashian West thinks surrogacy is her "only" option if she wants to have a third child.
The 36-year-old television personality, who has three-year-old daughter North and 15-month-old son Saint with her husband Kanye West, is desperate to expand her brood but after enduring complications is her previous pregnancies, she is contemplating alternative methods and she believes having someone else carry her child is the most "realistic".
Speaking on ‘Keeping up With the Kardashians’ on Sunday (02.04.17) about her plans to have more children, Kim said: "Kanye and I are just going to look into other options and see what we’re comfortable with.
"I’m definitely leaning more toward [surrogacy] I want to try it.
"After talking to Kanye, I think that I always knew that surrogacy was an option, but I didn’t think it was that realistic of an option. Now, I feel like that’s my reality.
"I feel like surrogacy really is the only other option for me."
But Kim is also contemplating undergoing surgery on her uterus to "repair this hole" in her organ in a bid to make it possible to have more children.
She explained: "I have to have a surgery on my uterus to kind of repair this hole, so they need to like clean that out and then there’s scar tissue."
However, the ‘Selfish’ author has previously been advised not to have any more children after she endured "really bad deliveries" with both of her kids and was warned by doctors that it is "nearly a guarantee" she will suffer from life-threatening placenta accreta for a third time if she gets pregnant again.
