Kim Kardashian West was "uncomfortable" with Kylie Jenner dating Tyga.
The reality TV star knew her former friend Blac Chyna’s "heart was broken" when Kim’s sister Kylie started dating Tyga, Blac’s ex-partner, but felt she had to side with her own family.
Speaking in a preview of the upcoming episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, she said: "I understand that Kylie dating Tyga completely broke Chyna’s heart. I feel for her in that situation.
"Was it uncomfortable for me when Kylie and Tyga started to date? Absolutely because Chyna was my friend but I had no choice but to take my sister’s side; that’s my sister. Do I think that everyone needs to sit down and talk and work it out? Absolutely."
And while it all seems to be water under the bridge now, the 35-year-old television personality also recalled a past conversation she had with her brother Rob where she refused to talk to Blac, who is now expecting Rob’s first child, because she didn’t want to feel "forced" to do so.
She told her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian: "So I called Rob and he said that Chyna wants to talk to me and you know I just told him that I’ll talk to her when I’m ready. And so he put me on speaker and then he was like, ‘Oh Kim, Chyna’s in the room, I just wanted to tell you so you didn’t think I was alone.’
"So she goes ‘Hi’ in the background and I didn’t say anything because I did not know what to say. I froze. He goes, ‘I’ve got to go brush my teeth, you talk to her.’ And so I go, ‘OK gotta go bye.’ And I hung up. I just wasn’t ready and I’m not going to be forced to be on the phone with her. I’ll talk to her when I am ready."
