Kim Kardashian West has had surgery on her uterus in the hope of having a third child.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star is desperate to expand her family with her husband Kanye West – who is already the father to their three-year-old daughter North and their 15-month-old son Saint – and has decided to go under the knife to fulfil her dream.
She said: "I have to go in and repair my uterus because I decided I’m going to try to have one more baby. Isn’t that exciting?"
However, her family were naturally concerned and puzzled by the admission, with half-sister Kendall Jenner telling her: "Oh my god, I thought you were for sure done."
Whilst Kris Jenner’s now ex-boyfriend Corey Gamble added: "I don’t want you to, like, do anything risky."
During the group chat, Khloe Kardashian questioned what kind of surgery it would be and Kim replied: "I have to have a surgery on my uterus to kind of repair this hole, so they need to like clean that out and then there’s scar tissue. It will still be a really high-risk pregnancy, just you’d be able to get pregnant."
And in a solo interview on the upcoming episode of the family’s E! reality show, Kim admitted the surgery was the "one last thing she could try".
She said: "Having more kids is definitely going to be a struggle. I’ve gone through so much with really bad deliveries that the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me to conceive again myself. This surgery is really the one last thing I can try."
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old television personality has been open about her pregnancy struggles in the past.
Following the birth of Saint, Kim suffered from placenta accreta, where the placenta remains attached to the womb.
