Kim Kardashian West thinks Blac Chyna is a "sweet girl".
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star insists her whole family are "on board" with the make-up artist’s relationship with her reclusive brother Rob Kardashian and couldn’t be happier the couple – who got together in January – are engaged and expecting their first child together.
She said: "We’re all on board. We definitely see that my brother is happy and getting healthy, and whatever gets him to that place, you know, we’re happy for him. Chyna’s a sweet girl, and I think we all have so many things going on in our lives that we just want my brother to be happy."
Chyna already has a three-year-old son, King Cairo, whose father is Tyga, and as the rapper was dating Rob and Kim’s half-sister Kylie Jenner until recently, there has been much speculation as to whether the famous family are pleased with Rob’s relationship.
However, 35-year-old Kim – who has kids North, three, and Saint, six months, with husband Kanye West – insists there is no "beefing" between them, but the family can’t help but be surrounded by "drama" all of the time.
She told America’s GQ magazine: "Has there been so many crazy things that happened? Yes. Is the whole situation, you know, just…? I think people want to feel like we’re all beefing and have this crazy fight, and we’re really not. I think the drama naturally follows us."
Last year, the family was rocked when Kim’s step-father Bruce Jenner – who split from her mother Kris Jenner in 2013 – announced he was to undergo a gender transition, and the family sought counselling to understand how to cope with the situation and the Olympian’s new identity as Caitlyn.
Kim said: "We did meet with someone a few times when Caitlyn was–[when] that was what was going to happen. A counsellor that taught us terminology–explained things to us."
The brunette beauty had previously "walked in on Bruce" wearing women’s clothing and, after confiding in her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, the pair had "no idea" what it means.
She recalled: "I went over to Kourtney’s, and Kourtney was the only person that I told. We had no idea what it meant. So we went and Googled stories and found this, like, Oprah episode of this girl who had gone through a transition. But we still didn’t know a lot."
