Kim Kardashian West worries about ageing "every single day".
The reality star beauty might only be 37 years old, but she has admitted she’s constantly thinking about the effects of getting older, and has said that whilst the process does "suck", she would rather grow old instead of just "not being here" at all.
When asked if she has fears about ageing, she told The Cut magazine: "Every single day. We were having dinner with my mom last night for her birthday. We were talking about the same thing. It’s obviously about the wisdom. There’s a sense of calmness and wisdom you get from life. But it also just sucks. There’s no easy way. [But] I would take ageing over not being here."
Currently, Kim is expecting her third child with her husband Kanye West – with whom she already has four-year-old daughter North and 23-month-old son Saint – via a surrogate mother, and although her body won’t be changing this time around, she’s finding the process much harder, as she has no control over her unborn tot.
She said recently: "You know, it is really different. Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control.
"And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but it is still … knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not, you know, my baby now, it’s hard for me. So, it’s definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area."
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who was warned against getting pregnant again after complications carrying her previous two children – believed having a surrogate mother would be "so easy" because she "hated being pregnant" with her first two children.
She added: "I hated being pregnant and I never thought I’d ever … I thought this was going to be so easy, but you know, even in how much I hated it, if I could do it myself I would have preferred that. So, that inner struggle is kind of hard, but I am just rolling with it and it is what it is."
