Kieran Hayler is "in talks" to appear on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former stripper – who has children Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, with ex-wife Katie Price – would love to go on the ITV show and confirmed his management team had been speaking to producers about the possibility.
He said: "I’d love to go on ‘I’m A Celeb’. I think there have been talks, but I don’t know for sure. I’d love to do it because I’m into the outdoors anyway so for me it would be really cool."
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s show will take place at a haunted castle in the UK, rather than the Australian jungle, and Kieran would welcome the change.
He told new! magazine: "I think it’s just the eating stuff I’d be a bit rubbish at – and it’s closer to home now I’ve heard."
ITV recently announced plans to stage ‘I’m a Celebrity’ in the UK, due to ongoing problems linked to the pandemic.
Kevin Lygo, the broadcaster’s director of television, said: "I’m thrilled that we can bring the show to viewers, albeit not in the jungle.
"We have a great team both on and off screen, and I know they will produce a hugely entertaining series."
ITV Studios’ director of entertainment Richard Cowles added: "We pulled out all the stops to try and make the series happen in Australia.
"Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and despite us looking at many different contingencies, it became apparent that it just wasn’t possible for us to travel and make the show there.
"However, we are all really excited about a UK version of ‘I’m a Celebrity’. While it will certainly be different producing the show from the UK, the same tone and feel will remain."
