Kid Cudi saved Pete Davidson’s life

Kid Cudi helped save the life of ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian Pete Davidson.
The 22-year-old actor – who is a regular cast member on the American sketch show – has admitted that he suffers with depression, and "wouldn’t be here" if it wasn’t for the 32-year-old rapper and his music.
Speaking on Clear Channel Media and Entertainment syndicated US radio show ‘The Breakfast Club’, the actor said: "Cudi’s the best of all. He saved my life. I would’ve killed myself if I didn’t have Kid Cudi.
"I would’ve killed myself. Absolutely 100%. I truly believe if [Kid Cudi’s debut album] ‘Man on the Moon’ didn’t come out, I wouldn’t be here."
And Pete finds it "comforting" to know that Cudi – who recently checked into rehab for depression and suicidal urges – goes through "the same stuff" that he does.
He said: "It’s kind of comforting to know your hero goes through the same stuff you do.
"I think that’s why a lot of kids my age can relate to Cudi and people love him so much is because he’s a very emotional dude."
The ‘Day N Night’ hitmaker – real name Scott Mescudi – booked himself into a facility earlier this month, after he admitted he was a "damaged human".
He wrote on Facebook at the time: "It’s been difficult for me to find the words to what Im about to share with you because I feel ashamed. Ashamed to be a leader and hero to so many while admitting I’ve been living a lie. It took me a while to get to this place of commitment, but it is something I have to do for myself, my family, my best friend/daughter and all of you, my fans.
Yesterday I checked myself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges.
I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me. If I didn’t come here, I wouldve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions every day of my life. (sic)"
